In the event of an overcurrent, the affected channel will be shut down safely and reset per programmed protection characteristic. The 787-861 Circuit Breaker provides active short-circuit current limitation to 1.5 times its rated current, preventing a voltage drop in one current path from affecting others in the event of a short-circuit. Current path trip times may also be configured.
