The K-Edge chain catcher has been a popular piece of kit since the very first time it was used in the 2008 Olympic Games by Kristin Armstrong. The chain catcher was designed to keep the chain in place, improve shifting performance and protect the frame from damage caused by a derailed chain. The original chain catcher was introduced to the Pro peloton in 2009 and ever since then it has been a permanent fixture on many bikes in some of teh worlds biggest races.
