Old Buffer –
I will use it to plan future events and to record details of a variety of events eg purchases, warranty terms dates etc, dates of letters sent and received. I find a diary more convenient and readily accessible than a computer.. the foregoing probably reflects my age having come to computers late in life. The diary has a nice feel to it and the pages are of good quality and do not allow fountain pen ink to leach through them. The amount of information, phone numbers, maps, dialling codes is a bit sparse. German comparable diaries are much better in this area. German equivalents also have better design of pages with division into areas for phone calls, reminders, important actions to be taken. They also provide a page at the beginning of each month with a small space provided to enter the Outline of the months activity. I recommend this diary.

I bought this as a Christmas gift stocking filler for my husband. Received it and wrapped it without checking – but once he unwrapped it we realised the cover is on back to front. If you open it with the date on the front cover, the contents are upside down/back to front. Didnt return at the time, as it still works as a diary if you remember to open it back to front! Just disappointing.

The packaging was not damaged, but the diary was. Sadly I needed to use it so decided to keep it.
The pages are very thin and stick together. When you write on a page, you can see it on the other side.
You get what you pay for I suppose
