The 40g grit rating makes it particularly effective for initial weld preparation, heavy rust removal and shaping work on ferrous metals. Supplied as a single disc, this variant is perfect for occasional users or specific one-off tasks. The premium resin-bonded construction combines with strong X-weight polyester-cotton backing to deliver consistent performance under demanding conditions. The T-29 conical shape with 15–25 degree angled flaps provides excellent contact on both flat surfaces and contoured edges, whilst the 22.23mm bore ensures compatibility with standard 115mm angle grinders.
