Manufactured from Japanese high carbon steel that has been hardened, tempered, straightened and stress relieved, the blade maintains perfect straightness with the steel back providing accuracy for precise joinery. The fine ground blade surface is coated in ultra-tough lacquer to prevent corrosion and ease friction during sawing.
