The Everbuild Fire Mate Intumescent Sealant in White provides a five-hour rated fire protection solution with a clean, neutral finish that blends seamlessly into light-coloured construction environments. This one-part, emulsion acrylic based intumescent acoustic sealant is ideal for projects where a discreet appearance is required or where overpanting in lighter colours is planned. Tested to BS 476 part 20 (1987) standards, this white variant delivers exceptional fire resistance by swelling greater than 3 times its original size when exposed to heat, creating a protective char barrier. The formulation provides excellent acoustic properties for sound deadening whilst offering a firm yet flexible seal in joints up to 50mm wide.
