This 4.2mm x 19mm hex head self drilling screw is ideal for fixing roofing sheets to light gauge steel where a smaller-diameter screw with a slightly longer length is required. The 19mm length allows for good sheet penetration whilst the 4.2mm diameter keeps the fixing neat and minimally invasive. No pre-drilling is required. The hex head with integral washer spreads the clamping load effectively, reducing sheet distortion and improving the integrity of the fix. The coarse thread engages reliably in light section steel, and this size is rated to a maximum drill thickness of 2.5mm. Zinc plated for corrosion resistance. Supplied in a pack of 1,000.
