The Makita EM407MP Rotary Scissors Attachment is a specialist grass cutting attachment designed for use with compatible Makita multi-tool systems, including the DUX60, UX01G, DUX18, and EX2650LH split shaft units. The attachment uses a rotational cutting motion with upper and lower metal blades working together to deliver high cutting efficiency across a 230mm cutting width. Unlike conventional nylon line heads or standard metal blades, the scissor-action design operates at a lower rotational speed, which significantly reduces the distance and velocity at which stones and debris are ejected during use.
