The FatMax V20 cordless pole saw has a 200mm chainsaw bar and chain which enables the cutting of smaller branches which would otherwise be out of reach - thanks to its long shaft which allows up to 3.4 metres of extended length. The tool is part of the FatMax V20 battery system and shares battery compatibility with all other Stanley FatMax V20 tools. The angled head allows for a comfortable working position when cutting branches from below and the chain break safety mechanism stops the chain in less than one second. The tool-free chain tensioning system allows for quick and easy chain adjustments in the work area and the auto-oiling system keeps the chain convenienly lubricated while working.
