The East German company Multicar has a tradition of several decades in vehicle construction and was privatized early after German reunification. The Multicar 26 was presented at the IAA Commercial Vehicles in Hanover in 1992. It is based on the Multicar 25, built in 1991 over 100,000 times. The newly designed cab cabin shows a wide-down windscreen which now has two windscreen wipers. Even indoors, the sound-absorbing interior paneling and the multi-adjustable vibration seat provide for more comfort. Hydraulic systems are designed for three-sided, low-profile and rear tipper trucks or operate pre- and reassembly units.
