That wasn’t the first time I bought this brand but I am afraid this pair is quite different to the others I own , I ordered 37/38 but these are bigger and obviously looser , I measured them against the one I have got and they are definitely 39/40 but because I got rid of the stickers immediately I couldn’t send them back and also the materials are not as sturdy and hard compare to those I already have and by the way I bought the previous pairs from the shops and not online.
Rose –
Confusing sizing for these flip flops. Three different sizes given (UK, European, American) which makes it awkward to know which to order. I originally ordered size 3/4 UK sizing but this equates to 35/36 which is smaller than UK sizing. I took advice from reviews and went for UK sizing. This was a mistake – they were too small. Returned and exchanged for 37/38 which did fit. They are OK but not incredibly comfortable as straps are not straight and can rub into side of foot.
Amazon Customer –
Ordered 2 pairs of these Havaianas in Steel Grey UK5 but have returned both pairs as they are poor quality. The securing buttons on the underneath were sunk too far into the soles and unevenly so. The straps are far too wide so that they do not even touch the feet and so would not keep them on. I have been wearing Havaianas for many years and these do not match the fit & finish of any I have had before, so I have a strong suspicion that these are not genuine products.
