    Fantastic buy!!
    Second one we have bought and now have one at front door and one in back garden. They are fantastic for two cameras we pay 7.99 a month and get alerts on them both and playback plus live feed. Great price for a quality camera. Battery life is pretty good considering in constant use. Connect to WiFi with no issues at all. Easy to set up and app works great, easy to use. Smart looking too.

    The security these give is priceless.
    These cameras are brilliant – perfect for a house in more remote locations. The video quality is excellent, they cover a wide range of view, you can activate a siren and talk through the camera to someone (like a delivery driver). To say I’m impressed is an understatement – I bought these for my parents so they’d have a bit more security and feel safer at home, and it’s given them more than expected. They can speak to delivery drivers now and see who is arriving at the house at any time. There is night vision which is excellent too.

    Decent camera. Lighting/app could be better.
    Had this professionally installed by an Amazon installer. The camera is very good. Really wide field of vision. Good quality picture, including at night. Motion detection for filming is very good. The built in spotlight is ok however could be better. As well as for security, I use this to light my driveway when I come home in the dark so I can see. The spotlight does turn off after about 30 seconds, even if Im still standing in the driveway (ie when im plugging my car in, still moving but not walking around), and I have to walk about and wave at it to turn the light back on. One time the light got stuck on and was lighting in the middle of the day and I had to restart it. Also the app control on the light doesn’t work very well – it often shows the light as being on when it actually isn’t, and manual control of the light from the app doesn’t work 90% of the time. Hopefully this may be fixable by firmware later down the line.

    Ring Spotlight Cam Pro with Solar Panel
    The Ring Spotlight Cam Pro is an excellent security camera with great image quality, motion detection, and useful smart features. It provides clear footage, reliable alerts, and good night vision, making it a solid choice for home security.However, the solar panel charging in the UK’s climate is not very effective. Cloudy days significantly reduce charging efficiency, meaning the camera may not stay powered for long. For consistent performance, it’s better to plug it into a power outlet or use the solar panel with a smaller camera that requires less energy.That said, when properly powered, this camera is a fantastic option for enhancing home security.

    Just hope it never goes wrong – warranty process is ridiculous
    Ring in general are great. system is easy to setup and use. However this camera stopped working, after only 4 months. Assumed i could just get a warranty replacement via Amazon but not – even for a device that new they wont replace it. Instead you have to go through tech support hell with Ring. I have had to spend over an hour on chat with their tech support requesting me constantly rebooting, checking the network, swapping the battery, rebooting again, just repeating the same steps over and over. After an hour there is still no resolution. My other devices are all working fine (which i told them at the start of the call). And they are refusing to just replace the device under warranty until i now spend even more time with their ‘advanced tech support’ team.

    Safety first
    Great price brought on prime day! Charged battery which took around 6 hours for full charge and only lasted 3 days but that was due to the settings I had the camera on! Easy to install, great quality picture and picks up movement with ease. Installed on our outside garden bar to capture movement in our back garden. Brought an additional battery as you can have 2 installed inside the camera at the same time which works well.

    Después de un año de uso, puedo decir que esta cámara de exterior es una de las mejores que he probado, superando a otras marcas como Blink en calidad de imagen, sonido y sensibilidad al movimiento. La imagen es nítida y detallada, tanto de día como de noche, con una visión nocturna realmente impresionante.Uno de sus puntos fuertes es su detección de movimiento, que se puede configurar para que envíe notificaciones automáticas al teléfono cuando detecta actividad. Lo mejor es que sabe discriminar entre personas y animales, evitando falsas alarmas innecesarias.Sin embargo, el único aspecto negativo destacable es la duración de la batería. Con un uso intensivo, no supera las tres semanas, aunque tiene la ventaja de que cuenta con un segundo compartimento para añadir una segunda batería, lo que puede alargar su autonomía.Es importante tener en cuenta que esta cámara funciona exclusivamente con baterías y no puede conectarse ni a la corriente ni a placas solares. Por lo tanto, no graba las 24 horas, sino que solo almacena grabaciones cuando detecta movimiento o cuando accedes a la vista en vivo.En definitiva, si buscas una cámara de exterior con una calidad de imagen excepcional, buena detección de movimiento y sonido de alta calidad, esta es una opción excelente. Solo hay que tener en cuenta la autonomía de la batería y la necesidad de recargarla periódicamente. Muy recomendable.

    Como las otras cámaras que tengo de esta marca son alucinantes, la calidad de visión que ofrecen y el fácil montaje hacen que sean de 10. El único inconveniente es la suscripción que debes de pagar anual para poder tener acceso a todos los vídeos .
