First, at Jameson’s take the best of pot still and fine grain whiskeys. Then they triple distil them not because they have to, because Jameson’s want to – this gives Jameson its signature smoothness. This tradition began in 1780 with John Jameson, and continue this legacy to this day. Finally, they age whiskey in oak casks for a minimum of 4 years. The result? a unique whiskey with a perfect balance of spicy, nutty and vanilla notes with hints of sweet sherry. The label features family crest and motto, proclaiming ‘sine metu’, it means ‘without fear’. It’s the reason John Jameson first triple distilled irish whiskey, creating Jameson irish whiskey . ABOUT JAMESON ORIGINAL TRIPLE DISTILLED BLENDED IRISH WHISKEY (1L): Jameson Original is an Irish whiskey produced, distilled and matured in Ireland.
MATURATION PROCESS – It is a triple distilled blend of traditional Irish pot still and fine grain whiskeys, matured for at least four years. The Whiskey is distilled in copper stills to give the whiskey its signature smoothness.
TASTING NOTES – Jameson Original Irish Whiskey has the perfect balance of spicy, nutty and vanilla notes with hints of sweet sherry and exceptional smoothness.
RECOMMENDED SERVE – Try this whiskey neat, in the signature Jameson Ginger Ale and Lime, or it can be used as a base for your classic cocktails like a Whiskey Sour or an Old Fashioned.
