“Life changing” tech everyone should have -Best doorbell on the market. *Long term review*
I think it’s fair to say that these doorbells are indeed a life changing tech product that everyone should own! With Ring being the top of the list in terms of quality and value for money. We’ve had this for around a year now and it’s never once let us down.I spent ages researching every video doorbell after hearing people complain about Rings subscription prices. I looked into all the main competitorsWhat a lot of people don’t mention is that no other door bell comes close to how seamless its app integration is, every other competitors app was horrifically bad compared to Rings. So was connectivity and general picture / video quality. The doorbell itself is fantastic, a breeze to set up, integrated seamlessly with Alexa and its app. Very handy seeing the door bell pop up on the Echo Show or TV through the FireStick. Quality is brilliant.Battery lasts a long time before needing to charge.Got it with the Chime which is also fantastic and a breeze to set up.The subscription is very good value for money in my opinion, the app is seamless, never fails, never glitches, all your motions, events etc are all available and easily accessed through the apps cloud storage. You don’t have to worry about clearing out an SD card (that a lot of non subscription competitors offer). Every motion or ring pops up on your phone / watch / tablet / Alexa device every time without fail.A few months after buying the doorbell we got two indoor pet cameras while ring were doing a 50% discount (which they do regularly) and they are brilliant. We’ve used a few pet cams over the years and the Ring ones blow them all out of the water. The quality is exceptional and motion very accurate. It’s also worth mentioning that regardless of how many Ring devices you have, the one subscription covers all of them! The arguments about data security in my opinion are from people who don’t understand what encryption is when it comes to cloud data. No worries there.Night vision is great.WiFi connectivity is really good (2.4ghz) never drops out.Overall, we haven’t had a single issue and would give it a 10/10 highly recommend. Have since bought others for family members who also love it.

Excellent Ring Doorbell – Totally Worth It!
Excellent Ring Doorbell – Totally Worth It!I’m really impressed with this Ring doorbell. The video quality is excellent – super clear both day and night – and the audio is crisp with no issues at all. Everything works exactly as expected, and the setup was quick and easy. One thing I really appreciate is the battery life — it lasts around 2 to 3 months on a single charge, which is better than I expected.

Great picture and sound quality
These are very good quality and fairly easy to install – you don’t need much in the way of tools or experience. It paired quickly with our wi-fi at home and sends a message to your phone when the bell is rung or there is a camera activation. It records this to the server and you can view later or in real time.It has a good quality picture and sound. Excellent. Would recommend the Ring doorbell chime so you get a loud warning at home (your phone might be on silent ot not with you).Great bit of kit.

Can’t see us ever not having one
Why did you choose this product over others?:Fantastic. Always wondered what the fuss was about until we got one. Can’t imagine not having a ring door bell now. Easy to set up, video and two way communication quality is fantastic.

Would be lost without my Ring Doorbell 5*
A sleek, smart upgrade—reliable security with effortless setupThe 2024 release of the Ring Battery Video Doorbell is a standout upgrade that blends sleek design, improved performance, and user-friendly features. Setup was refreshingly simple—within minutes, I had it mounted and connected to Wi-Fi, with the app guiding each step clearly. The battery-powered design means no hardwiring, making it perfect for renters or anyone wanting a hassle-free install.Video quality is crisp and clear, even in low light. The enhanced motion detection is noticeably smarter than previous models, reducing false alerts while still catching relevant activity. I especially appreciate the customizable motion zones and privacy settings, which let me tailor alerts to my home’s layout.Two-way audio is strong and responsive, making it easy to speak to visitors or delivery drivers. The integration with Alexa adds convenience—alerts pop up on my Echo devices, and I can view the live feed with a simple voice command.Battery life is solid, and recharging is straightforward. The app provides timely reminders, and the quick-release battery pack makes it easy to swap or recharge without removing the whole unit.Overall, this 2024 Ring Doorbell feels like a polished, thoughtful evolution of a trusted product. It’s ideal for anyone looking to boost home security with minimal fuss and maximum control.
