Step 1: Completely remove any existing sealant and residues. Thoroughly clean the joint to remove contaminants and allow to dry.
Step 2: Cut off the tip of the cartridge above the screw thread. Remove nozzle cap and trim nozzle to fit the joint width. screw the nozzle onto the cartridge.

Step 3: Insert the cartridge into a cartridge gun.
Step 4: Pull the trigger to apply sealant into the joint. Ensure the sealant has good contact with both sides of the joint.

A Reliable Sealant, But Prepare for the Smell!
I used this UniBond Anti-Mould sealant to re-do the seal around my bath, and the results are excellent. It’s a high-quality white silicone sealant that is easy to tool into a smooth, professional-looking bead. After curing, it forms a tough, flexible, and completely waterproof barrier. I’ve used this brand before, and the mould protection is genuinely effective and long-lasting, even in our steamy bathroom.The one crucial piece of advice is to ensure you have excellent ventilation during application. The acetic acid (vinegar) smell while it cures is incredibly strong. We had the window wide open and the extractor fan running for several hours. This is typical for a good quality sealant, but it’s something first-time users need to be prepared for. As long as you prepare your surfaces properly and air the room out, you’ll be left with a brilliant, durable finish.

After reading the reviews I bought the White Silicone but be prepared to get a sticky goo on your hands, I just could not believe how sticky this was, (remembered to wear gloves the next time I used it) 🤣 I found if you put plenty of washing up liquid in a bowl and with your finger just smooth the line, it stays shiny and I found it to be a good quality silicone, for my shower basin. Good Value for the money. 😎
