WoodWick Large Hourglass Scented Candle | Vanilla Bean
Love this candle, the smell of vanilla and the crackling. Last for a long time and even when the wick has been blown out. Delivery before 1pm helps too.

A yearly festive tradition
The smell of Christmas! We buy one every year and it really puts us in the mood for cosyness and festivities. The large size has a great burn time and the scent easily fills a large room.

Warm, Cozy, and a Bit of a Splurge
I recently got this and it’s truly the most wonderful thing that’s come into my humble abode. First off, the smell is just wonderful. It’s an even, creamy, not-over-the-top sweet vanilla smell that never is overpowering but definitely makes its presence known in a room. Unwinding? The perfect accessory to a long day in the office. And this one has a wooden wick, so it crackles—like, really crackles—when you’re burning it. Thing is, the major part of burning with this wick is that it’s like a mini fireplace. That’s one of those added relishing features that put a bit of a twist on the whole experience. And of course, it burns evenly and lasts a while, which is always a good thing. This, however, are not very cheap in comparison with some other brands available on the market. I do think it’s worth it for the quality and atmosphere considering, though honestly, if this is a real issue for you, it may not be for you. Additionally, the wick crackles, so sometimes it can get pretty loud if you need quiet to read, etc.I would rate this candle 4 out of 5 stars overall, with ohne star knocked off for the price. From the fragrance and crackling sound to the overall even melt. It’s a good choice for anyone just looking to add a touch of warmth and luxury to their home. If paying a little more isn’t going to annoy you, then definitely, it’s worth it!

AMAZING CANDLE
I absolutely love the Woodwick Ellipse candle which I purchased in the vanilla scent. Everyone has admired the scent and you can actually smell it when 1st coming into the house. It has a lovely smell but is not overpowering. Some candles these days have very little smell but not the Woodwick. The added feature is the wick which goes along the oval shaped candle and jar. It actually makes a crackle sound like a wood fire makes. It is so relaxing. The oval shaped jar is lovely and unusual with a really nice lid. Overall, this is an amazing candle with the scent, the shape and the crackling sound. I am definitely going to order more and they would be perfect as a gift. Several different scents available. 10 stars!

The candle came cracked and melted, the wax leaked out of the mold.

Strong scene.

I LOVE vanilla scented candles, but too often, they just don’t smell like much!! This Woodwick one has a heavenly scent, plus the crackling wood sound is wonderful. This is my favorite size, the medium one. The large Woodwick candles tend to get dark smoky glass stains, and the oval ones don’t last long. They begin to just melt down in the middle where the wick is. But this size is perfect. I keep one in the bathroom for a luxurious bath; one in the family room for a cozy, rainy, read a book evening; and one on the dining room table for ambience.
